Shout out to Bowen yesterday, his work rate is fucking unreal .

Always willing to run behind the defenders, run the channels and hold the ball up.

How many 'decent' players do you expect us to have?

Re: ⚽ Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread Carabao Cup
How about Fornals, when he came on? It was into the heat of the battle, where we were starting to struggle to clear our lines, getting a bit panicy, and on comes Pablo and lifts the team's level a few notches with some sublime play.

Greenwood lifted them a bit, but Fernandez didn't have half the effect on Man U's level as Fornals did on ours.

El Hammer is fast becoming one of our most important players. In fact, he already is.

Noble saying he didn't go down shouting at our place cracked me up.

Got crunched in the ankle (no free kick) then went off. I think he said 'cramp' to the physio thought.

I thought Noble was excellent, to be fair. Despite almost giving away a penalty.

Loved the post match interview where he called out Lingard for diving.

Times saying Lanzini went off injured?
Also mentioning great support from away fans although a questionable song about Ronaldo ! Haa haa

The squad is still too thin, one swallow doesn't make a summer.

Noble is a carthorse now, Yarmolenko not far behind. Johnson does a job as a reserve left back, but he is basically out of his depth in that position, so I'd say we have a squad of about 18 decent players. Much better than in previous years, but still threadbare once injuries start to hit.

We had the 11 from Sunday, 10 different players last night and Antonio who didn't play in either. So we now have 22 players who can comfortably play in the first team. Not bad for a 'thin squad'

Great performance last night. I've seen Kral play in the Czech league and always looked a cut above but I didn't expect him to take to things so quickly. Diop and Dawson brilliant. Issa is suddenly looking like a reasonably decent heir to Ogbonna's throne. Even Masuaku did alright at lw. Instructive though that Moyes chose not to drop him back when Fredericks came off.

Good God do I fucking hate Manchester United.

Trunds - yes, suspect those positions will be Moyes 2 priorities now.

Superb team performance, those who condemned Noble for being past it should remember the run and effort he put in to score a second goal in the 90th minute! Ok he missed the opportunity but well done him.

It's STILL obvious we need a left back and a striker, IMO.

But the last 2 games have been a great litmus test of where we are. Both our first team, and "second X" are pretty much on par with Man Utd's £877m assembled squad.

So according to bbc breakfast we only won because Manchester United played their reserves not mentioning we played our reserve team as well…..can we add this to the inequality argument please…… :-)
